Noël à l’anglaise

Plus de 1000 visiteurs sont attendus pour le second marché de Noël à l’anglaise de Blablablah qui se déroule cette année à l’Abbaye du Château de Cassan le dimanche 2 décembre 2007.
Vous y trouverez plus de 25 exposants, livres, bijoux, sculptures en bois (avec démonstration d’un tourneur sur bois), sculptures en fer, bougies, cartes, maroquinerie, décoration de Noël, tableaux, jouets, spécialités alimentaires anglaise, linge de maison, vêtements, miroirs, arrangements floral, verreries, une sélection de vins à la dégustation et à la vente, etc…
Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, cadeaux de dernières minutes, des idées, voir même Le cadeau idéal !
Razaq, notre chef renommé du Kashmir, et l’école occitane « la calendreta dels polinets » de Pézenas vous proposerons de vrai frites, des soupes, des « petits pâtés de Pézenas » à l’Anglaise, des marrons grillés et des spécialités du kashmir.
Un groupe local de Jazz animera la journée grâce à Ray et ses 6 surprenants partenaires, ainsi qu’un prêtre avec son orgue de barbarie.
L’auteur des colonnes dans Blablablah du wineblah guidera les amateurs novices et éclairés à l’art de la dégustation.
Et un père Noël bilingue sera attendu dans l’après-midi.
Le Château , ses pièces, son jardin, ses cuisines, les cloîtres et la chapelle du XI ème siècle seront ouverts au public et un jeu de découverte sera organisé pour les enfants.
L’entrée sera de 2€ par adultes (gratuit pour les enfants).
Que le ciel soit bleu ou qu’il pleuve des cordes (temps anglais !), tout est prévu pour que ce marché se tienne soit à l’extérieur soit dans la chapelle.
Grand Parking disponible autour du château.
Note :
Un cracker est un petit tube en papier coloré dans lequel se trouve un cadeau, un petit chapeau en papier et une blague idiote. Quand 2 personnes tire une petite corde aux deux extrémités, un pétard se déclenche.

Over a thousand visitors are expected to Blablablah’s second annual Christmas Cracker event at Chateau Abbeye de Cassan on Sunday 2nd December.
With over 25 stands booked including, jewellery, sculpteur en bois, sculpteur en fer, candles, cards, handbags, books, Christmas decorations, paintings, toys, English Christmas food, linens, clothing, mirrors, bric a brac, floral arrangements, stained glass items, a selection of wines to taste and to buy and much much more !
All you need for those last minute presents you might have forgotten or ideas for just the right one !
Razaq, our renowned Kashmir chef, and the Occitan school in Pezenas will feed you with a range from English chips, hot soup, mince pies, roasted chestnuts, and Indian specialities.
There will be Jazz from local singer, player and all round entertainer Ray who will be with us with his 6 revelling artist which make up the Jazz Band,
And the Vicar of Blah will be on hand with his magic music box to entertain you.
Blablablahs very own wine writer – wineblah will guide novices and hardened drinkers alike on the finer points of wine tasting.
Plus a very special bilingual Father Christmas is expected to arrive during the afternoon.
The chateau, its rooms, gardens, kitchens and 11th century chapel and cloisters will all be open and there is a children’s quiz and trail.
Entrance, just €2 for adults (children free), a saving of €5 on the normal entrance price to visit this splendid Chateau and fair – value plus !!!.
Come sun or rain the fair will be outside if the weather is fine or in the Chapel if it is too cold or wet

Notes

A Cracker is a particularly English thing – a colourful paper tube in which there is a small present, a silly paper hat and a very bad joke. It is pulled apart by 2 people and there is a mechanism which makes a small bang. Too dangerous for planes so that is why we run the event
